The outcomes in the first five paintings below are the result of a long exploration of line, action and space. They put forward the purest and simplest possible forms. and are created and edited using a series of mathematical processes. Their conception took shape in many many black and white pencil trainings in sketchbooks spanning the past seven years.
The forms in these paintings were transferred to a mathematical collage process and used to create 9 collages for The Summerhall exhibition in Edinburgh 2011. They can be found on the Cargo Collective website link on the right and side.
